Locums Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a locums Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide urgent care coverage in Oxford, Massachusetts, beginning September or early October. This is a great opportunity for an experienced provider looking for consistent shifts in a well-established practice.

Position Highlights:

• Setting: Urgent Care (no trauma)
• EMR: EPIC
• Shift Schedule:
• Week 1: Wednesday & Friday (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM), Saturday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Week 2: Sunday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), Tuesday & Wednesday (8:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Week 3: Same as Week 1
• Week 4: Same as Week 2
• Patient Volume: 20–30 patients per shift
• Shifts Needed: 12 per month 

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Manage a range of urgent care conditions
• Perform minor procedures: suturing, wound care, buddy taping
• Provide high-quality, efficient care with a focus on patient satisfaction 

Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts license
• Current CSR and DEA
• Minimum 2 years of urgent care or emergency medicine experience
• Comfortable working independently
• Available to start by September or early October
