Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive primary medical care services to patients within the scope of family practice and internal medicine.
- Evaluate and diagnose patients based on clinical knowledge, physical examinations, medical history, and diagnostic testing.
- Order appropriate laboratory and imaging studies, interpret test results, and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Refer patients to specialists as appropriate and collaborate with other healthcare professionals on care coordination.
- Promote preventive health care and patient education.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Family Medicine or related primary care specialty.
- Active, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Oklahoma.
- Board certification (or eligibility) in Primary Care or related field.
- Unrestricted DEA and Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs registration.
- Current BLS/CPR certification for Healthcare Professionals.
- Knowledge of preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and community health systems.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Interest in working in a rural or underserved community setting.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary care environment.
- Familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations.
