Locums Hematology/Oncology Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Towson, Maryland. This role involves both outpatient clinic care and inpatient consult support, with a strong preference for candidates with experience using EPIC EMR.

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: Minimum of 4 days/week
• Clinic: Monday – Thursday, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (4 shifts weekly)
• Inpatient consults: One weekday per week + overnight weekday call
• Weekend call: 24-hour call every 4th weekend
• Patient Volume: 12–15 patients/day (mix of new and follow-up)
• Setting: Combination of outpatient clinic and inpatient consult rounding
• Duties:
• Provide care for new and existing hematology/oncology patients
• Inpatient rounding on admitted patients
• Manage new consults during assigned inpatient weekday
• Night call coverage during inpatient week and designated weekends 

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology
• Maryland Medical License (IMLC candidates will be considered)
• Active DEA and Maryland CDS (CSR)
• BLS Certification
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
