Locums Medical Oncology Physician

We are seeking a Locums Medical Oncologist to assist in launching a new Medical Oncology practice in Peoria, Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity to help build a comprehensive oncology program with strong APP support and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

Position Details:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12-hour day shifts (7:30 AM start)
• Weekends: No weekend coverage required
• Support: On-site APP support; PRN Medical Oncologist on-site one week per month
• Licensure: IMLC accepted 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including consultations, admissions, and follow-up care
• Conduct hospital rounding as needed
• Collaborate closely with the APP for consults, follow-ups, and patient management
• Coordinate care with the multidisciplinary cancer team
• Provide coverage when the PRN Medical Oncologist is not on-site 

Required Qualifications:

• Active Illinois medical license or IMLC
• ACLS and CSR certifications required
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Medical Oncology
