Locums Radiation Oncology Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified Radiation Oncology Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Williamsport, PA. This is an excellent opportunity to provide ongoing coverage at a welcoming community-based practice with both outpatient and inpatient responsibilities.

Assignment Details:

• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 5 days per week
• Outpatient Office Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
• Call Coverage: Every other week (in addition to regular day shifts)
• Duration: Full-time ongoing coverage (up to 1 year)
• Clinical Volume:
• 2 new consults/day
• 1 re-evaluation/day
• 2 follow-up patients/day
• Tuesdays: All on-treatment patients are seen by the physician
• Simulations: 2–3 scheduled daily, Monday–Friday
• Daily Responsibilities: Review of images and treatment planning
• On-Call Duties: Infrequent – includes patient calls and consultation of inpatients needing radiation therapy

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
• Active DEA License
• Pennsylvania Medical License (IMLC considered)
• Highly Preferred: Local or drive-in candidates for ongoing coverage
