Temporary Claims Specialist

We are seeking a temporary Claims Specialist to join our team in the Bronx, NY. This is a hybrid role, offering a combination of on-site and remote work to provide flexibility and work-life balance.

Compensation:  $26-30+  per hour. 

Work Schedule: 2 days on-site, 3 days remote per week

Responsibilities:

• Review and process insurance claims accurately and efficiently
• Investigate and resolve claim discrepancies or issues
• Communicate with clients, providers, and internal teams regarding claims status
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of claim activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
• Support team initiatives and contribute to process improvements 

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in claims processing or a related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and claim management software
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
