Locums Nocturnist Hospitalist Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Locums Nocturnist Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join a dedicated hospital medicine team in San Antonio, Texas. This position focuses on providing high-quality inpatient care during overnight hours at a busy hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Manage admissions, discharges, and cross-coverage for hospitalized patients overnight
• Collaborate with attending physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care
• Respond to urgent patient needs, including rapid response and code situations
• Conduct thorough patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Document all patient encounters accurately in the hospital EMR 

Requirements:

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Texas (active, unrestricted license)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior inpatient hospitalist or nocturnist experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities overnight
