Locums Cardiology Physician

We are seeking a Full-Time Locums Cardiology Physician to provide hospital-based cardiology coverage in Erie, PA. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling for providers seeking as few as two weeks per month up to four weeks per month.  The role includes a mix of consults, diagnostic test interpretation, and occasional clinic patient appointments, with the flexibility to accommodate coverage needs from two to four weeks per month. The hospital offers a collaborative team environment with access to multiple diagnostic platforms to support comprehensive patient care.

Position Overview:

• Hospital Coverage: At least 8 hours in the hospital daily for rounds, consults, and diagnostic test interpretation
• Shift Lengths:
• Day shifts typically 8–10 hours
• On-call shifts overnight: 5 PM – 8 AM
• Responsibilities Include:
• Reading diagnostic tests on five different systems
• Providing hospital consultations, including inpatient rounds
• Interpreting diagnostic tests as needed throughout the day
• Clinic coverage as needed, typically 9 AM – 4 PM
• Responding to on-call duties including overnight coverage 

Requirements:

• Active PA medical license
• DEA Registration
• Board Certification in Cardiology
• Current ACLS certification
