Coordinator, Clinical Psychiatry

Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Coordinator II, Clinical Psychiatry to manage and oversee the Acute Psychiatric Services unit. This role combines clinical leadership, program management, and quality improvement to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care.

 

Compensation:  $100,000-$112,000

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Investigate and resolve incidents and patient complaints, including chart reviews, staff interviews, and compliance follow-up.
  • Provide clinical supervision and support discharge and aftercare planning for patients.
  • Develop and manage treatment and group schedules to meet patient needs and promote recovery.
  • Lead Quality Assurance and Utilization Review (QA/UR) activities, including chart audits, performance measures, and corrective action plans.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, recruitment, training, and development to maintain adequate coverage and a therapeutic environment.
  • Manage legal documentation and serve as liaison with attorneys as needed.
  • Direct and grow the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), including admissions, outreach, and staff training.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure smooth transitions of care.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and internal policies.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field required.
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) and PMCS training preferred.
  • Minimum three (3) years of relevant experience in an acute psychiatric or behavioral health setting.
