Clinical Nurse Manager – Long Term Care

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Clinical Nurse Manager to oversee and coordinate the delivery of resident care in our Long Term Care (LTC) units. This leadership role is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting a high standard of care for our residents.

The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a solid clinical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing nursing teams in a long-term care setting.


Compensation:  $130,000-$145,000

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and coordinate resident care within assigned LTC units.
  • Develop, implement, and update policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality care.
  • Monitor changes in residents’ conditions and direct appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
  • Lead and mentor nursing staff, setting high standards for performance and patient care.
  • Foster positive patient, family, and community relations.
  • Oversee budgets, staffing, and resource allocation for assigned units.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational goals.
  • Stay current on nursing practices, technology, and pharmaceuticals relevant to LTC.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support departmental success.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) – Required
  • Master’s degree in Nursing or related field – Preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience.
  • Proven leadership experience in a long-term care or similar setting.
  • Current and active New York State RN license required.
