Intensivist Physician – Day and Night Opportunities

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive critical care coverage in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a 7-on / 7-off schedule, supporting a balanced work-life routine.
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, respiratory therapy, and specialty consultants, to develop and execute patient-centered care plans.
  • Perform patient assessments, manage ventilators, oversee admissions and discharges, and conduct daily ICU rounds.
  • Utilize the Cerner EMR system for accurate and efficient clinical documentation.
  • Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives and ensure best practices in critical care medicine.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary and Critical Care, or Internal Medicine/Critical Care.
  • Valid Massachusetts medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
  • Proven expertise in the management of complex, critically ill patients.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
