Locums Site Medical Director

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Site Medical Director (Chief) for a locum tenens opportunity in Englewood, FL. This leadership role involves overseeing emergency department operations while delivering high-quality patient care.

Position Details

• Department: Emergency Medicine
• ED Volume: 20,000 annual visits
• Beds: 18-bed ED + 12 fast-track treatment chairs
• Coverage:
• Single physician coverage: 6 AM – 6 PM / 6 PM – 6 AM
• EMR: P-Doc Documentation & Meditech with M*Modal Dictation
• Hospital Size: 100 licensed beds

Requirements

• Board Certified / Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• ACLS and PALS certifications
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Previous leadership experience in an ED setting preferred
