We are seeking an
experienced Locums Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation team in Northeastern
Oregon for a three-month assignment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable
treating a wide range of injuries and age groups and open to learning and
applying new treatment techniques. The therapist will design individualized
care plans, implement effective interventions, monitor progress, and
collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to promote safe,
effective recovery.
Compensation: $65
- $69 Per Hour
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients, develop
individualized treatment plans, and deliver physical therapy interventions
to restore function, reduce pain, and prevent disability.
- Provide education on injury prevention,
home exercise programs, ergonomics, and overall wellness.
- Administer manual therapy, therapeutic
exercises, and use appropriate equipment to support recovery.
- Assess and adjust prosthetic and
orthotic devices as needed.
- Monitor and document patient progress,
modify treatment plans, and coordinate with other healthcare providers for
comprehensive care.
- Discharge patients appropriately and
ensure follow-up or referrals when necessary.
- Supervise and collaborate with support
personnel to maintain a high standard of care.
Qualifications:
- Current, valid, and unrestricted Physical
Therapy license and board certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a
Physical Therapist.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification with AED.
