Locums Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking an experienced Locums Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage at a busy pediatric emergency department in Henderson, Nevada. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a growing community pediatric ED with robust subspecialty support, seeing a diverse patient population in a high-volume setting.

Compensation:  $330-$340/hr

Assignment Details

• Location: Henderson, NV
• Shift Type: 24-hour shifts
• Weekend Requirements: Yes
• On-Call Requirements: N/A
• Setting: 8-bed pediatric emergency department, flexible to 12 beds
• Patient Volume: ~13,000 annual visits

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for pediatric patients presenting to the emergency department
• Work collaboratively with pediatric subspecialists and ED staff to ensure high-quality care
• Manage acute, urgent, and emergent conditions in pediatric patients
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system
• Support the department in maintaining efficient patient flow and quality outcomes

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (no FM/IM providers accepted)
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in a community pediatric ED setting
• Must have been clinically active within the past year
• Active Nevada medical license required
