Assignment
Details:
- NICU Level: Level III (60
     beds)
 - Shift Type: 24-hour
     in-house coverage
 - Schedule: Per diem;
     approximately 4–5 shifts per month
 - Services Covered: All NICU
     services except ECMO and heart surgery
 - Support Team: Residents and
     Neonatal Nurse Practitioners
 
Key
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to
     critically ill neonates in the Level III NICU
 - Collaborate with residents, nurse
     practitioners, and attending neonatologists to ensure continuity and
     quality of care
 - Participate in daily rounds,
     bedside procedures, and management of NICU patients
 - Respond to neonatal emergencies
     and provide appropriate interventions
 - Document patient care accurately
     in the hospital’s EMR system
 - Participate in quality
     improvement and safety initiatives within the NICU
 
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Neonatology (Board
     Eligible not accepted)
 - Active Kansas medical license
 - Minimum of 1 year of recent
     clinical experience in a NICU setting
