We are seeking a highly experienced Chief
Operating Officer (COO) to join our executive leadership team in Brooklyn, New
York. The COO will oversee day-to-day operational functions across the
healthcare system, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care, operational
efficiency, financial sustainability, and regulatory compliance. This role
spans acute care, ambulatory care, and long-term care services and facilities.
The COO reports directly to the President/Chief
Transformation Officer and collaborates closely with the Chief Executive
Officer, Chief Medical Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, and other senior leaders
to implement strategic initiatives, drive organizational performance, and
foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
Compensation: $400,000-$450,000
Schedule: Monday
through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee daily operations
across all healthcare service lines, including acute, ambulatory, and
long-term care
- Collaborate with executive
leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives that advance
organizational goals
- Ensure operational efficiency,
quality of care, and patient safety throughout the organization
- Drive financial performance and
sustainability, including budgeting, resource allocation, and operational
metrics
- Ensure compliance with federal,
state, and local regulations and accreditation standards
- Foster a culture of collaboration,
innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Partner with clinical leadership to
optimize workflows, staffing, and clinical outcomes
- Oversee major projects, capital
initiatives, and process improvement efforts
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Healthcare
Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (required)
- Minimum 15 years of progressive
leadership experience in healthcare operations, including 10 years in a
senior executive role
- Clinical background (MD, RN, etc.)
preferred
- Fellow of the American College of
Healthcare Executives (F.A.C.H.E.) preferred
- Proven experience leading complex
healthcare operations and managing multiple facilities or service lines
- Strong leadership, communication,
and strategic planning skills
