Locums Gastroenterology Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Locums Gastroenterology Physician to provide inpatient coverage in Richmond, Indiana. This opportunity offers a collaborative hospital environment with excellent support staff, advanced facilities, and access to modern technology.

Our providers perform a wide range of general gastroenterology services, including diagnosing, treating, and monitoring diseases of the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, rectum, pancreas, gallbladder, bile ducts, and liver.

Services include:

• Pillcam capsule endoscopy
• Screening exams
• CT colonography
• Flexible sigmoidoscopy
• Double-contrast barium enema
• FIT, gFOBT, and stool DNA testing
• Endoscopy
• Colonoscopy

Assignment Details:

• Coverage Type: Inpatient
• Hospital Size: 220 beds
• Trauma Level: III
• Shift Commitment: 10 shifts per month
• EMR: Epic

Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Gastroenterology Fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Valid and unrestricted Indiana medical license or IMLC eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS (AHA issued)
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required
