About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Field Operations Manager to oversee daily EMS operations, strengthen cross-department coordination, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality service. This role is ideal for a proactive, organized leader with strong operational insight and the ability to keep multiple departments aligned and performing at a high level.

This is a hands-on, in-person leadership role requiring strong communication, problem-solving, and real-time decision-making skills.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead day-to-day operations across Transport, Special Events, 911 operations, and supporting units.

  • Manage administrative workflow, high-volume communication, and KPI-driven decisions.

  • Oversee staffing readiness, scheduling coordination, logistics, and equipment deployment.

  • Strengthen communication between Dispatch, Logistics, HR, and Administrative teams.

  • Identify operational gaps, anticipate needs, and implement proactive solutions.

  • Support team leadership, coaching, engagement, and performance management.

  • Conduct client check-ins, site visits, and maintain positive external relationships.

  • Ensure compliance with performance metrics, regulatory standards, and contract obligations.


Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education preferred).

  • 2+ years of management or supervisory experience.

  • Strong technical skills (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, workforce management tools).

  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage operations, and communicate effectively.

  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to manage competing priorities.


Preferred Candidates Have:

  • EMS, public safety, healthcare operations, or high-volume field operations experience.

  • Leadership experience across multiple departments or service lines.

  • Familiarity with scheduling systems (e.g., UKG, Telestaff) and EMS platforms (ESO, Logis).

  • A track record of improving processes, workflows, or organizational efficiency.

  • Strong client-facing experience and relationship-building skills.

  • Experience training, coaching, or developing staff.

  • Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced, dynamic operational environments.


Work Environment

  • On-site, in-person role with occasional field presence at events or client locations.

  • Requires moderate physical activity; may involve lifting/pushing up to 150 lbs.

  • Exposure to varying weather conditions during field activities.
