Locums Pediatric Physician

A facility in Marion, NC is seeking a Board-Certified Pediatrician to provide 24-hour newborn call coverage over a four-day period. The provider will support newborn care needs in coordination with the OB team and respond onsite as needed.

This role is dedicated solely to newborn call—no clinic responsibilities.

Schedule

• Dates Needed: November 26, 27, 28, 29
• Shift Structure: 24-hour call, 7 AM to 7 AM
• Coverage Type: Newborn-only call
• Must respond to the facility when requested by the OB provider

Responsibilities

• Newborn resuscitation
• Attend deliveries when requested
• Perform circumcisions
• Provide newborn assessments and stabilization
• Support newborn care in collaboration with OB providers

Requirements

• Board Certified Pediatrician
• Experience Required:
• Newborn Resuscitation
• Circumcision
• NRP
• PALS
• EMR: Cerner
