Hospitalist Physician

We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Physician to join a diverse, patient-centered hospitalist group in a large community hospital setting in West Virginia. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high-quality inpatient care with access to a full range of medical specialties and strong administrative support.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient clinical care for patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage diseases and injuries of the internal organ systems.
• Establish and promote preventive health practices for hospitalized patients.
• Collaborate with consultants from multiple specialties to provide coordinated, high-quality patient care.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the medical record.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support hospital operational goals.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a West Virginia medical license.
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
