Gastroenterologist Physician

We are seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist Physician to join a growing practice in West Virginia, providing comprehensive outpatient gastroenterology care and inpatient consultations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment with access to multidisciplinary support.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient gastroenterology services, including evaluation, diagnosis, and management of digestive disorders.
• Conduct inpatient consultations for hospitalized patients with gastrointestinal conditions.
• Perform endoscopic procedures and other diagnostic or therapeutic interventions as required.
• Collaborate with other specialists to coordinate patient care and optimize outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and support clinical best practices.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a West Virginia medical license.
• Completion of an Internal Medicine residency and a Gastroenterology fellowship program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology.
