Medical Assistant

Join our Mesa, AZ clinic as a Medical Assistant and become a key member of our patient care team. You’ll support providers, assist with procedures, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure a smooth clinic experience. Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for exams and procedures; take vitals and medical histories.
• Assist providers during examinations and minor procedures.
• Maintain accurate patient records in the EMR system.
• Coordinate patient flow, follow-ups, and referrals.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinic staff.
• Support clinic operations including room prep, equipment sterilization, and inventory management.
• Transcribe dictated reports accurately and interpret medical terminology.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred.
• CMA/RMA certification preferred but not required.
• Experience in gastroenterology or medical office setting is a plus.
• Familiarity with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, gGastro, eClinicalWorks).
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, diagnostic procedures, and pharmacology.
