Locums OBGYN Physician

A hospital in Decatur, TX is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician to provide locum tenens coverage. This role is ideal for a physician who enjoys a lower-volume, focused practice and is comfortable providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care while on call.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide obstetric and gynecologic care for inpatients and deliveries.
• Participate in 24-hour on-call coverage with call-back responsibilities.
• Manage an average of 1.7 deliveries per day and weekend discharges.
• Utilize ECW EMR for patient documentation and care coordination.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and nursing teams to ensure high-quality patient care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN
• Active medical license in Texas (or eligible for expedited licensure)
