We are
seeking an experienced Locums Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician
Assistant to support a Neurosurgery/Trauma ICU team at a Level II Trauma Center
in Redding, California. The provider will manage critically ill patients
following emergency brain, neck, and spine surgeries, with a strong emphasis on
neuro-trauma and neuro-critical care.
Compensation: $130 Per Hour
Schedule
- Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00
PM
- Shift Length: 10 hours
- No call required
Key
Responsibilities
- Manage neurosurgical and trauma
ICU patients post-emergency brain, neck, and spine procedures
- Provide critical care for
neuro-trauma and neuro-critical care patients
- Perform daily ICU rounds, patient
assessments, and care coordination
- Collaborate closely with
neurosurgeons, trauma surgeons, intensivists, and nursing staff
- Ensure accurate and timely
clinical documentation
Qualifications
- Nurse Practitioner (ANCC or AANP
certified) or Physician Assistant (NCCPA certified)
- Active California license
- Neuro-trauma and/or
neuro-critical care experience required
- Current ACLS, ATLS, and DEA
