VFR Medical Pilot – Sign-on Bonus

Sign-on Bonus up to $50,000. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated full-time VFR Medical Pilot to operate AS350 aircraft in Phoenix, AZ. This position plays a crucial role in Helicopter Emergency Medical Services adhering to CAMTS guidelines and ensuring the highest standards of safety and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct VFR/NVG (Visual Flight Rules/Night Vision Goggles) operations in the AS350 helicopter.
• Adhere to all regulatory and company standards, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Participate in 24-hour operations, including day and night rotations.
• Collaborate effectively with medical and ground teams to ensure successful missions.

Location & Schedule: Phoenix, AZ. Schedule 7 & 7. Candidates must live within a one-hour drive or sixty (60) miles from the base (whichever is greater) of the candidate's residence.

Requirements:

• Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings
• First Class Medical
• CAMTS Requirement // 2,000 Total Hours // 1,500 Hours Helicopter // 1,000 Hours PIC Helicopters // 500 Hours Turbine Helicopters // 100 Hours in Unaided Night Operations or 50 Hours Unaided and 100 Hours Night Vision Goggles (NVG)
• Candidates must meet 235 pounds body weight
• Strong Communication, Internal and External Customer Service Skills
• Interview and acceptance by customer and management
• Annual Flu Vaccine not required
• Must be able to pass pre-placement physical exam including functional capacity exam (strength and flexibility assessment, lift 100 pounds to assist in the loading and unloading of patients and equipment.), drug screening and background screen.
