Locums Neurosurgery Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified Neurosurgery Physician to provide locums call coverage in Petoskey, Michigan. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a well-supported hospital setting with full on-site resources and an experienced neurosurgical team.

Position Details:

• Schedule: 14 days per month
• Call: 24-hour call coverage, including weekends
• Patient Volume: Approximately 5–10 inpatients per day
• Scope of Practice:
• Emergent neurosurgical call coverage
• Emergency surgeries
• Daily inpatient rounding

Practice Setting:

• Imaging, laboratory, procedure rooms, and OR all on site
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements:

• Board Certified in Neurosurgery
• Active Michigan medical license
• ACLS certification required
