We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Neurosurgery
Physician to join a well-established, multi-state surgical group in Sacramento,
California. This role offers an excellent balance of acute care neurosurgery,
inpatient consultative services, and operative opportunities, supported by a
collaborative, high-acuity clinical team.
The Neurosurgery Physician will play a critical role in managing acute
neurosurgical cases presenting through the Emergency Department and transfer
center. The position focuses on inpatient consults, trauma-related cases, and
performing necessary neurosurgical procedures in coordination with experienced
ED physicians, hospitalists, and a well-staffed ICU team.
Compensation $457,500

Responsibilities
- Provide
neurosurgical consultation for emergency and inpatient cases
- Evaluate
and manage trauma-related neurosurgical conditions
- Perform
emergent and indicated neurosurgical procedures
- Collaborate
closely with ED physicians, hospitalists, intensivists, and nursing staff
- Maintain
high standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction
- Predictable
schedule: 26 weeks per year (approximately 2 weeks per month)

Requirements
- Board
Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
- Active
California medical license or ability to obtain
