Emergency Medicine Physician - Flexible Schedule

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician to join a collaborative rural emergency department in Plainview, Texas. This role offers flexible scheduling and strong compensation in a well-supported, low-volume setting.

Highlights:

• Flexible scheduling: 1099 full-time, part-time, or PRN
• Compensation: $280–$290/hour
• Malpractice: Paid with tail coverage
• Facility: 49-bed Emergency Department
• Volume: ~13,000 annual visits
• Trauma Level: Level IV
• EMR: EPIC
• Team: 5 Physicians and 3 APPs
• Advanced medical technology and diagnostics

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality emergency care for a wide range of acute conditions
• Stabilize and manage trauma and medical emergencies
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing, and support staff
• Document care efficiently in EPIC

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABEM or PC with Emergency Medicine experience preferred)
• Emergency Medicine experience required
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure
• Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills
