Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens Physician

High-volume Emergency Department in a 500+ bed acute care hospital in Atlantis, FL (Palm Beach County) seeks board-certified EM physicians for flexible locum coverage.

• Annual Volume: ~88,000 visits at main ED; total network >130,000 including associated freestanding ERs.
• Patients Per Hour: 2–3 PPH (mix of high and low acuity).
• Shifts: 12-hour (7a-7p / 7p-7a); day/night options.
• Support: 70+ hours physician coverage daily + 30 hours APP; full specialist backup; EMR: Meditech.
• Beds: 78-bed ED with fast track.
• Associated Freestanding ERs: Two locations (Boynton Beach & Palm Beach Gardens) – potential for shifts; similar 24/7 services with on-site imaging/lab.

Requirements:

• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine.
• Active FL license & DEA.
• ACLS, ATLS, PALS.
