Locums Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Board-Certified Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens opportunity in Coos Bay, Oregon. This position offers a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology care in a collaborative cardiology program supporting general, invasive, and electrophysiology services.

Position Details

• Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts
• Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Care Mix:
• 50% inpatient
• 50% outpatient
• Clinic Volume: 15–18 patients per day
• Hospital Census: 8–15 patients per day
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient cardiology management and consultative services
• See and manage outpatient cardiology clinic patients
• Support general cardiology, invasive cardiology, and electrophysiology services
• Collaborate closely with cardiologists and multidisciplinary care teams
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in Epic EMR

Requirements

• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner (required)
• Active Oregon Nurse Practitioner license (or willingness to obtain)
• Minimum of 1+ year of experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner
• Active DEA
