Seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for locum tenens coverage in Beaumont, TX. This role will provide support for a busy hospital-based orthopedic trauma service. The ideal candidate will have experience managing acute orthopedic injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Trauma call coverage for orthopedic
cases
- Operative and non-operative fracture
management
- Inpatient rounding and consults
- Collaborate with hospitalists, ER, and
surgical team
- Provide post-operative care and
follow-up
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma
required
- Active Texas Medical License (or ability
to obtain)
- DEA license required
- BLS/ACLS certification required
- Prior experience in a trauma setting is
essential
- Generous (above market) hourly rate
- All travel arrangements provided and booked by the group, on top of the per shift rate
- Med-mal and tail insurance covered
- Personal locums consultant to manage credentialing and scheduling shifts
