Patient Access Representative

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Patient Access Representative to join a busy healthcare facility in Lone Tree, Colorado. This full-time role is critical to ensuring a positive patient experience by serving as the first point of contact and supporting efficient registration, scheduling, and front-end revenue cycle operations.

Compensation:  $18.00 - $21.00

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
• Register patients accurately, including demographic, insurance, and financial information
• Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and authorizations
• Schedule appointments and coordinate referrals as needed
• Collect co-pays, deductibles, and outstanding balances in accordance with policy
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
• Resolve patient questions regarding appointments, billing, and insurance
• Document all interactions accurately in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient flow

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in patient access, registration, or medical front office preferred
• Knowledge of insurance verification and prior authorizations preferred
• Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems preferred
