We are looking for a PRN Infusion Nurse to join our team! This PRN role is perfect for someone seeking a flexible schedule and supplemental income. Assignments will be offered on an as-needed basis, depending on clinic demand.
Compensation: $40-$43 Per Hour
Competitive per-hour rate DOE (1099 contract – you are responsible for your own taxes)
What you'll do:
- Administer IV medications
- Provide quality nursing care before, during and immediately after infusions ensuring comfort and safety
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Maintain drug inventory, supplies and equipment.
- Clean, sanitize, and prepare infusion chairs, equipment, and treatment areas between patients to ensure the highest level of infection control
- Recognize and act on emergency care needs in the event of respiratory and/or cardiac occurrences.
Requirements:
- Strong IV skills and knowledge of infusion protocols
- Ability to work independently as well as a collaborative team
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, problem-solving and patient care skills
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Registered Nurse with current RN license
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 1 year of infusion experience preferred
- Knowledge and Proficiency in MS Excel, electronic health systems and databases
- Knowledge of GCP, federal, state, and local regulations, including HIPAA policies and procedures.
