Locums Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician

We are seeking a Locums PM&R Physician (Physiatrist) to provide coverage in Panama City, FL. This role focuses on the diagnosis, evaluation, and management of patients with physical and cognitive impairments, disabilities, and functional limitations across a broad patient population.

Assignment Details

• Coverage Dates: June 16 – July 6
• Schedule: Monday–Friday (standard daytime hours)

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with functional impairments and disabilities
• Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation treatment plans
• Manage a wide range of conditions affecting mobility, cognition, and daily functioning
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including therapists and nursing staff
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation
• Or within 7 years of residency completion (ABPMR)
• Or within 6 years (AOBPMR)
• Active Florida medical license (unrestricted)
• Active DEA license with Florida address
• ACLS certification
• Strong clinical experience in rehabilitation medicine
