We
are seeking a Fellowship-Trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a
physician-led organization in Phoenix focused on building and supporting
high-performing surgical teams across the United States. Our model emphasizes
predictable scheduling, strong clinical support, and allowing surgeons to focus
on delivering exceptional patient care in a hospital-based setting.
This
position supports a high-acuity trauma center and offers the opportunity to
work alongside an experienced orthopedic trauma team in a well-supported,
collaborative environment.
Schedule
- 183 shifts
annually (24-hour shifts)
- Blocked
scheduling with 7-day stretches
- Built-in
recovery time between rotations
Responsibilities
- Provide
operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients
- Participate in
trauma call coverage
- Manage complex
fracture care, including pelvic and acetabular injuries
- Collaborate with
trauma surgery, ICU, and emergency medicine teams
- Balance surgical
cases, inpatient care, and follow-up clinic responsibilities
- Ensure timely
documentation and high-quality, patient-centered care
Requirements
- Board Eligible
or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Completion of an
Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship
- Experience
managing high-acuity trauma cases preferred
- Expertise in
pelvic and acetabular fracture care strongly preferred
- Eligible for
Arizona medical licensure
- Ability to
obtain and maintain hospital privileges
