Locums General Surgery Physician

We are seeking a Locums General Surgery Physician to provide coverage in Clarksburg, WV. This is a long-term assignment (1 year with potential extensions) offering consistent scheduling, competitive compensation, and the opportunity to work in a supportive clinical environment.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $250 – $260 per hour

Assignment Details

• Duration: 12 months with option to extend
• Schedule: Full-time (specific schedule to be discussed)
• Mix of inpatient, outpatient, and surgical responsibilities
• Participation in call coverage may be required

Responsibilities

• Perform a broad range of general surgical procedures
• Evaluate and manage patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Provide pre-operative, operative, and post-operative care
• Respond to surgical consults and participate in call rotation
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Current, full, and unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia
• Strong clinical and surgical skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team-based environment
