Locums Cardiology Physician

We are seeking a Locums Cardiology Physician to provide outpatient cardiology coverage in Redding, CA beginning in late June/early July for a 6+ month assignment. This is an excellent opportunity for a fellowship-trained cardiologist seeking a consistent outpatient schedule in a collaborative practice environment.

Compensation:  $330 Per Hour

Assignment Details

• Start Date: End of June / Early July
• Assignment Length: 6+ months
• Schedule: Full-time, 4–5 days per week
• Shift Hours:
• Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Friday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Setting: 100% Outpatient
• EMR: Cerner

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general cardiology outpatient care
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult cardiology patients
• Conduct follow-up visits, consultations, and ongoing cardiac care management
• Average patient volume: approximately 20 patients per day
• No inpatient responsibilities or admissions
• No invasive procedures required
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the EMR system

Requirements

• Completion of a Cardiology Fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Active California medical license preferred
