We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Tenens Neurology Stroke Medicine Physician to join our team in Asheville, NC. This role involves providing comprehensive care to stroke patients within a hospital-based setting, working closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of patient care. Physician must provide 15 shifts per month on the Inpatient Neuro-Hospitalist service, with working hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Manage 4-5 consults and 10-15 rounds per shift, some of which will be conducted with an APP (Advanced Practice Provider). Work collaboratively with a team that includes at least one additional Inpatient Neurology MD, NP/PA support, and a full nursing staff for ICU, Step Down, and Med-Surg units.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology with a specialization in Stroke Medicine.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in North Carolina.
- Strong background and experience in stroke management.
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
