A
well-established women's health program in Edison, New Jersey is seeking a
Locums Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician to provide comprehensive
high-risk obstetrical care in a collaborative practice setting. This
opportunity offers a predominantly outpatient schedule with limited inpatient
responsibilities and the support of an experienced multidisciplinary team.
The
ideal candidate will have experience managing high-risk pregnancies, performing
advanced prenatal diagnostic procedures, and collaborating with obstetric
providers to optimize maternal and fetal outcomes.
Compensation: $350 Per Hour

- Practice Setting:
- Outpatient: 90%
- Inpatient: 10%
- Call Schedule: Remote Call,
1:3 Rotation
Clinical
Responsibilities
- Provide consultation and management
for high-risk obstetrical patients
- Perform maternal-fetal medicine
evaluations and follow-up visits
- Interpret and oversee advanced
obstetrical ultrasounds
- Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians,
primary care providers, and specialists
- Participate in inpatient
consultations as needed
- Develop and manage treatment plans
for complex maternal and fetal conditions
- Maintain accurate and timely
documentation

- 5–6 Maternal-Fetal Medicine consults
per day
- 20–25 ultrasounds per day

- Work alongside 2 Maternal-Fetal
Medicine physicians

- Dedicated onsite clinical and
administrative support staff
Required
Procedures
Candidates
must be comfortable performing:
- Chorionic Villus Sampling (CVS)
- Amniocentesis
- Advanced fetal ultrasound
interpretation
- High-risk pregnancy consultations and management
Qualifications
- MD or DO required
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in
Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Maternal-Fetal Medicine experience
required
- Fellowship training in
Maternal-Fetal Medicine preferred but not required
- Active New Jersey medical license
required
- Current DEA registration required
- Current CDS registration required
