Medical Director of Ophthalmology - Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Ophthalmologist to serve as Medical Director of Ophthalmology for a thriving, hospital-employed practice in beautiful Rutland, Vermont. This leadership opportunity combines a robust clinical practice with the ability to guide and grow ophthalmology services within a respected regional healthcare organization.

Requirements:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
• Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency program
• Fellowship training welcomed but not required
• Eligible for or able to obtain a Vermont medical license
• Eligible for hospital medical staff privileges
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and commitment to high-quality patient care
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
