Locums Primary Care Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified Primary Care Physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Manasquan, New Jersey. This outpatient opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule within a well-established practice supported by an experienced team of providers and staff.

Compensation:  $150 Per Hour

Position Details

• Schedule:
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Tuesdays: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Setting: Outpatient Clinic
• Average Patient Volume: Approximately 3 patients per hour

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care services to adult patients
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic medical conditions
• Perform routine preventive care and wellness visits
• Interpret EKGs and manage acute volume and blood pressure-related issues
• Conduct employment physicals and disability examinations
• Coordinate care with specialists and ancillary healthcare providers as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation

Procedures and Clinical Duties

• Adult outpatient primary care
• EKG interpretation
• Evaluation and management of acute volume and blood pressure issues
• Employment physicals
• Disability examinations
• Preventive care and chronic disease management

Requirements

• Board Certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active New Jersey medical license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience in outpatient primary care settings
• Local provider strongly preferred
