A thriving and well-established multispecialty medical group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its growing Pulmonary/Critical Care team in Fall River, Massachusetts. This is an outstanding opportunity to work alongside experienced pulmonary and critical care physicians in a collaborative, patient-focused environment that offers a diverse blend of outpatient and inpatient pulmonary medicine.
The position includes a
combination of office-based ambulatory care and hospital-based pulmonary
consult services. Providers will participate in a weekly rotation alternating
between outpatient clinic responsibilities and inpatient pulmonary consult rounding
with two experienced APP colleagues. While the Pulmonary team manages a 12-bed
ICU and performs advanced pulmonary procedures, this position does not involve
direct ICU patient management.
Position Highlights:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday schedule
- No nights, weekends, or call responsibilities
- Alternating weekly rotation between outpatient clinic and inpatient pulmonary consult service
- Utilize eClinicalWorks for documentation, patient management, and e-prescribing
- Dedicated lung cancer screening program
- Specialized COPD and lung nodule clinics
- On-site Pulmonary Function Testing laboratory
- On-site imaging and laboratory services
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
- Current Massachusetts NP or PA license
- Active DEA registration
- Massachusetts Controlled Substances Registration
- Experience in pulmonary, critical care, internal medicine, hospital medicine, or primary care preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Compensation & Benefits:
