We are seeking a Board-Certified Certified
Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in
Globe, Arizona. This assignment provides a diverse case mix, a consistent
weekday schedule, and the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative
surgical team.
Position Details
- Coverage
Needed: Full-time
coverage for July and August
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Minimum
Shifts: 10–20
shifts per month
- Operating
Rooms: 2 Main ORs
Call & Weekend Requirements
- Weekend
coverage required on a 4-week rotation
- Call
required
- Rotation
includes:
- Two
weeks with no call
- Third
week designated as float with call responsibilities
- Off-site
beeper call with hourly callback compensation if called in
Case Mix
Provide anesthesia services for a variety of
surgical specialties, including:
- General
Surgery
- Orthopedic
Surgery (majority of cases)
- OB/GYN
- Gastroenterology
- Cardiac
Catheterization Lab (occasional)
No cardiac or neurosurgery cases.
Responsibilities
- Deliver
safe, high-quality anesthesia care throughout the perioperative process.
- Perform
pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia plans.
- Administer
and monitor anesthesia during surgical procedures.
- Provide
post-anesthesia evaluations and pain management as appropriate.
- Collaborate
with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and the perioperative
team to ensure exceptional patient care.
