We
are seeking a Fellowship-Trained Locums Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join a
physician-led organization in Glendale, AZ focused on building and supporting
high-performing surgical teams across the United States. Our model emphasizes
predictable scheduling, strong clinical support, and allowing surgeons to focus
on delivering exceptional patient care in a hospital-based setting.
This
position supports a Level II Trauma Center and offers the opportunity to work
alongside an experienced orthopedic trauma team in a collaborative,
well-supported environment. The practice provides a balanced mix of operative
and non-operative trauma care while maintaining a strong commitment to quality
outcomes and patient-centered care.
Schedule
- 183 shifts
annually (24-hour shifts)
- Blocked
scheduling with 7-day stretches
- Built-in
recovery time between rotations
Responsibilities
- Provide
operative and non-operative management of orthopedic trauma patients
- Participate in
trauma call coverage
- Manage a broad
range of fracture care and orthopedic injuries
- Collaborate with
trauma surgery, emergency medicine, hospitalist, and rehabilitation teams
- Balance surgical
cases, inpatient care, and follow-up clinic responsibilities
- Ensure timely
documentation and high-quality patient care
Requirements
- Board Eligible
or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
- Completion of an
Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship preferred
- Experience
managing orthopedic trauma patients in a hospital-based setting
- Eligible for
Arizona medical licensure
- Ability to
obtain and maintain hospital privileges
