Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – PRN

Join our growing healthcare team providing high-quality, patient-centered care to residents in skilled nursing facilities throughout Jacksonville, North Carolina. We are seeking compassionate Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants who are passionate about improving the health and quality of life of older adults in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Position Highlights:

• Full-time and PRN opportunities with flexible scheduling
• Six-hour facility shifts for full-time providers (rounds typically begin between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.)
• No call or overnight responsibilities
• Provide patient-centered primary care to residents in skilled nursing facilities
• Conduct daily rounds, manage acute and chronic conditions, and prescribe medications and treatment plans
• Collaborate with nursing staff and interdisciplinary care teams
• Document efficiently using a streamlined EHR with AI Scribe, voice dictation, and a company-provided iPad with LTE
• Access UpToDate® for real-time clinical guidance

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
• Board Certification (ANCC, AANPCB, PNCB, AACN, or NCCPA)
• Skilled nursing, long-term care, geriatrics, or post-acute care experience preferred
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams
