Locums Critical Care Intensivist Physician

A hospital in Panama City, Florida is seeking a Locums Critical Care Intensivist Physician to provide Medical ICU coverage during select dates in August and September. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who can step into a well-supported ICU environment and is available for the specific coverage dates listed below.

Assignment Details

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Coverage Needed:

• August 17–26
• Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• No night call on August 25–26
• September 18–30
• Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• No night call on September 30

Providers must be available for the listed dates.

Practice Setting

• 20-bed Medical ICU
• Collaborative critical care team
• Adult critically ill patient population

Responsibilities

• Manage critically ill patients in the Medical ICU
• Provide ventilator management
• Perform standard ICU procedures
• Coordinate multidisciplinary patient care and treatment plans
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based critical care

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
• Active Florida medical license required
• Active DEA registration required
• Must have a clean credentialing file to qualify for expedited temporary privileges
• Must be able to perform ventilator management and routine ICU procedures
