Hybrid Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner - 1099

Sign-on Bonus up to $10,000. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our growing behavioral health team in Sterling, Virginia. This hybrid role provides the opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered psychiatric care to children, adolescents, and young adults through a combination of onsite and telehealth services. The PMHNP will be responsible for conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing ongoing medication management in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.

 

Schedule Requirements:

• Minimum commitment of 12 hours per week
• At least 5 hours per week onsite
• Flexible scheduling to support work-life balance

Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in Pennsylvania
• Board Certification as a PMHNP (PMHNP-BC) through ANCC or AANP
• DEA license and Virginia State Prescriptive Authority
• Minimum of 2 years of independent experience as a PMHNP
• At least 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents, or young adults
• Proficiency with EHR systems and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
• Reliable computer, phone, and high-speed internet for telehealth services
