A busy Emergency
Department in West Palm Beach, Florida is seeking a Locums Board Certified
Emergency Medicine Physician to provide PM/Nocturnist coverage. This is an
excellent opportunity to join a highly collaborative emergency medicine team
while providing high-quality care in a modern, newly renovated department
during evening and overnight hours.
Position
Overview

- Schedule: 12-hour night

- 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM
- 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Minimum Commitment: 4–6 shifts per
month
- Call: No call

Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat
patients presenting with a broad range of emergency medical conditions
- Perform emergency procedures
within the scope of Emergency Medicine practice
- Stabilize critically ill and
injured patients
- Order and interpret laboratory
tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic evaluations
- Collaborate with emergency
physicians, specialists, nursing staff, APPs, and ancillary teams to
provide timely, patient-centered care
- Document patient encounters
accurately using the electronic medical record

Qualifications
- Board Certified in Emergency
Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)
- Active Florida medical license
- Current DEA registration
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS
certifications required
