Emergency Department in Independence, Missouri is seeking a Locums Emergency
Medicine Physician to provide coverage in a supportive, lower-acuity emergency
care setting. This opportunity is ideal for an Emergency Medicine physician who
enjoys a collaborative environment with APP support and a manageable patient
volume.

Center
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients
presenting with a variety of emergency and urgent medical conditions
- Perform standard Emergency
Department procedures within scope of practice
- Identify and stabilize
higher-acuity patients requiring transfer or escalation of care
- Collaborate with APPs, nursing
staff, and support teams to provide efficient patient care
- Document patient encounters
accurately and complete required medical documentation

Qualifications
- Board Certified in Emergency
Medicine
- Active Missouri medical license
or ability to obtain licensure
- Current DEA registration
- ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS
certifications as required
