Neurology Physician

Full Time

We are seeking a General Neurologist to join a growing rural healthcare team in Berlin, New Hampshire. This is a full-time outpatient opportunity for a physician who values community-focused care, clinical autonomy, and meaningful patient relationships.

 

Position Highlights

  • Rural Critical Access Hospital setting

Clinical Focus

Evaluate and manage patients with a variety of neurological conditions, including:

  • Migraine and headache disorders
  • Memory loss and cognitive impairment
  • Essential tremor
  • Parkinson's disease
  • Dizziness
  • Epilepsy
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Polyneuropathy

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage neurological conditions in an outpatient setting.
  • Perform medication management and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
  • Interpret EEG studies — highly preferred.
  • Perform and interpret NCS/EMG studies — highly preferred.
  • Administer Botox injections — highly preferred.
  • Educate and counsel patients and families.
  • Coordinate referrals with cardiology, orthopedics, pain management, pulmonology, sleep medicine, therapy, and other specialties.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation.

 

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Completion of an accredited Neurology residency
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology
  • Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
  • 2–5 years of General Neurology experience preferred
  • Recent graduates with strong clinical skills encouraged to apply
  • Comfortable practicing in a rural setting
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
